2. What this site is
Kitted is an information and price-guide website for tools, workwear and related products. We are not a retailer. We do not sell, stock, dispatch or deliver the products shown in the tool listings, deals, starter kits, picks or guides.
When you click a link to a retailer you leave our site. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and that retailer only. The retailer's own terms, prices, delivery charges, returns policy and guarantees apply. Questions, complaints, refunds and returns for anything you buy must go to the retailer you bought it from.
3. Prices, availability and product information
We take reasonable care to show accurate information, and we show the date prices were last checked. However:
- prices, "was" prices, savings, stock and product details are supplied by or taken from third-party retailers and can change at any time without notice;
- the price, description and availability shown on the retailer's own website at the time you buy are the ones that apply;
- starter kit and company kit totals are guide figures added up from individual prices on the date shown, and are not an offer to sell at that price;
- product photos and icons are for illustration and may not show the exact item.
We do not guarantee that any price, saving or product shown on this site is accurate, complete, up to date or available. Always check the retailer's page before you buy.
4. How we make money
Many links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may be paid a commission by the retailer or its affiliate network, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Being paid commission does not change the price you pay.
5. Discount codes
Where we show a checkout or discount code, it is provided by the retailer, who decides whether it is valid, what it applies to and when it ends. Codes may be withdrawn or changed at any time and may not work with other offers. We are not responsible if a code is refused.
6. Guides, picks and recommendations
Our guides, "our pick" choices, starter kit lists and other content are general information and personal opinion only. They are not professional, technical, electrical, engineering, health and safety or legal advice, and they are not a substitute for training, supervision or qualification.
- You are responsible for deciding whether a product is suitable, safe and correctly rated for the work you intend to do.
- Always follow the manufacturer's instructions, your employer's and training provider's procedures, and the regulations and standards that apply to your work.
- Electrical, gas, pressure and other hazardous work must only be carried out by people who are competent and, where required, qualified, registered or supervised to do it.
- Nothing on this site tells you how to carry out any particular job, and you should not rely on it for that purpose.
7. Company starter kit enquiries
The company kit estimator gives guide figures only. Sending us a quote request does not create a contract and does not oblige either of us to go ahead. Any supply of kits will be on separate written terms, and a price is only binding once we have confirmed it to you in writing.
8. Deal alerts
If you sign up for deal alerts we will email you about deals and site news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. Our privacy page explains how we use your information.
9. Using the site
You may use this site for your own lawful purposes. You must not:
- use it in any way that breaks the law or harms us or anyone else;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, interfere with how it works, or introduce viruses or other harmful material;
- copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the site, or use automated tools to do so, without our written permission;
- submit false, misleading or abusive information through our forms.
We may suspend or withdraw the site, or any part of it, at any time without notice.
10. Intellectual property
The Kitted name, logo, design, text and layout of this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Brand names, product names and logos of manufacturers and retailers belong to their owners; showing them here does not mean those companies endorse us or are connected with us, unless we say so.
11. Links to other websites
This site links to websites run by other organisations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security, products, services or how they use your data. Following a link is at your own risk, and you should read the terms and privacy policy of any site you visit.
12. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

- if you use the site for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts, revenue, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss;
- if we are found liable to you for any reason, our total liability is limited to £100.
We take reasonable steps to keep the site secure but cannot guarantee it will be free from viruses or other harmful code. You are responsible for protecting your own device.
